Court: Florida Man Arrested After Throwing Cat At Girlfriend’s Face

ORLANDO, Fla. (CBS Tampa) – A Broward County man is accused of attacking his girlfriend with her cat, according to the Orlando Sun-Sentinel.

41-year-old Kenneth Stuart is charged with battery, resisting arrest and tormenting an animal, say court records.

He was arrested Thursday after an argument with his live-in girlfriend.

According to the criminal complaint, Stuart entered her bedroom threatening the cat’s life, then threw it at her face.

She suffered injuries near her right eye, causing bleeding. Afterwards he pushed her over and knocked a TV and computer onto the floor.

“When the police got there you said, ‘Just take me to jail. I’m tired of this,'”  read Broward County Judge John “Jay” Hurley from the report.

The judge set bail at $16,500, noting Stuard has two previous battery convictions
