Bucs Claim DB Felder

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today that they have claimed defensive back Bobby Felder off waivers from the Minnesota Vikings.

Felder (5-11, 200), entered the league as a college free agent with the Vikings in 2012 and spent the season on their practice squad. This year, he was with Minnesota, before being waived.

A native of McCombs, Miss., Felder played collegiately at Nicholls State, finishing his career with 12 interceptions, the fourth-most in school history. As a senior, he started all 11 games and intercepted a career-high five passes, earning All-Southland Conference and second-team All-Louisiana honors. Felder also saw action on special teams, blocking three kicks in his career.
