Deputies Search For Bodies Of Fla. Woman, 2 Kids

DELTONA, Fla. (AP) — Volusia County Sheriff’s investigators are searching for the bodies of a woman and her two young children.

In a statement issued Thursday evening, sheriff’s spokesman Gary Davidson confirmed that Yessenia Suarez and her children — 8-year-old Michael Otto and 9-year-old Thalia Otto — are dead. He says no further details were available Friday morning.

Husband Luis Toledo was named a person of interest in their disappearance and was being questioned by authorities on Thursday.

Suarez and her children were last seen on Tuesday.

Investigators say Suarez has two cars registered in her name. One was found in the driveway of her Deltona home and the other was found in the parking lot of a Publix in Lake Mary.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement is assisting in the investigation.
