Schiano Has 99 Problems But Freeman Ain’t One

by Anthony "Booger" Mcfarland

Coach Schiano, I owe you something and I’m man enough to say it, even though you suck in ninety-nine other areas, and you lied to us.

We know you lied about using Darrelle Revis in mostly man-to-man defense because we can clearly see on film that it’s mostly zone.

We know you lied to us about running the same offense for Mike Glennon that you ran for Josh Freeman because the film shows us more short underneath routes AND the use of a tight end.

Lastly, you’re the head coach of a 0-6 team and well, that’s obviously your fault.

But none of that matters.

Coach, I apologize for questioning the benching of Josh Freeman.

He is 0-4 as a starting quarterback this year and had a historically bad performance on Monday night for the Vikings, over-throwing teammates 16 times. It’s unfortunate that Josh hasn’t been able to get back to his 2010 form when he threw 25 touchdowns with only 6 picks, and even though I think you’re part of the reason for that, I can’t solely place the blame on you.

So coach, you got 99 problems with this team right now, but Josh Freeman ain’t one. I owe you something most fans won’t give you and that’s an apology. At this moment Josh Freeman isn’t ready and you recognized it.
