(AUDIO) Bucs Linebacker Lavonte David: We Can’t Put a Finger on Why We’re 0-6
Tampa Bay Buccaneers linebacker Lavonte David joins Booger and Rich every Tuesday to take you onto the field and into the locker room at One Buc Place.
David said that he did watch the game last night and a lot of his teammates are still friends with Josh Freeman and were rooting for it. They thought it was rough start for him but they understand that he only had a week and a half to prepare.
With the team at 0-6, David said that no one can put a finger on what’s wrong and what needs to be fixed. David said he hopes it changes on Thursday night and said it’s frustrating to be in all of these games and unable to come out with the W.
David said that Greg Schiano tells the team that they just have to keep believing and keep fighting. David said no one in the locker room wants to be winless. He said that everyone is still pushing and playing their hardest. He himself has a chip on shoulder and wants to go out and dominate and won’t let anyone outplay him.
The Bucs have struggled with penalties and David said that those are coming from mental errors. He said guys just need to be smart.
