(AUDIO) Mark Cook from Pewter Report Says the Bucs Players Say They Aren’t Concerned About the MRSA Outbreak

Scott Reynolds 10-11

Mark Cook from Pewter Report joins Booger and Rich to preview the upcoming Bucs game and take you inside One Buc for the latest. Reynolds helped preview the Eagles game this Sunday against Chip Kelly’s high-powered offense and talked about Carl Nicks’ setback with MRSA found in his toe once again.

Cook says that if you look at the injury report Gabe Carimi and Johnathan Banks were listed on the injury report with an illness and multiple reports say Banks is the third player to contract MRSA. Banks was not in the locker room or at practice today according to Cook. Indications show that it was caught early.

Cooks says even he himself is concerned about the MRSA at One Buc because he’s there every day. Players are saying they aren’t concerned and Cook says that bringing in a lead infectious analyst from Duke likely calmed things down in the locker room among the players.

Cook says that it’s going to be very difficult for the Bucs to play the Eagles this Sunday because of their high powered offense and this recent news could easily be a distraction.
