VERO BEACH, Fla. (CBS Tampa) - A local woman was arrested by deputies with the Indian River County Sheriff’s Office after they say she stabbed her boyfriend in the eye when he refused to have sex with her.
According to the TC Palm’s Off the Beat blog, 28-year-old La Crystal King-Woolfork arrived home at approximately 4 a.m. on Sept. 26 after a night of drinking. Police reports obtained by the paper indicate that she entered the bedroom of the household with a female friend.
Upon their arrival, they began to “perform … oral sex on one another while [the boyfriend] watched.”
She then attempted to engage the unidentified man in sex with her and her friend, but he refused. Upset by his rejection, King-Woolfork reportedly stabbed him in his left eye with a knife.
Soon after, the man disarmed his enraged girlfriend and called a friend to drive him to a nearby hospital.
While speaking with deputies, King-Woolfork denied stabbing him, but confessed to hitting him with a candle holder several times in the face, the paper learned. She additionally claimed that her boyfriend hit her in the nose.
King-Woolfork is now facing one attempted murder charge. The police report indicates that she was held without bond.
