(AUDIO) Former Cowboys Dir. of Player Personnel Gil Brandt: Freeman Doesn’t Have Much Trade Value

Former NFL scout and director of player personnel for the Dallas Cowboys Gil Brandt joined Booger and Rich to talk about Josh Freeman’s recent predicament with the Buccaneers.

Brandt said Freeman’s trade value is very low right now. Brandt said that he knows Freeman personally and he is a very good young man and said it would surprise him if he was doing drugs.

Brandt said he never experienced these types of information leaks like we’re seeing at One Buc. While in Dallas, Brandt said the people inside that building weren’t concerned with getting the franchise in trouble, they wanted to win.

Brandt said if Mark Dominik called him to make a trade for Freeman, he would if the money was right. He would only trade for him if the deal had conditional picks because it’s hard to give anything up for Freeman after everything that’s come out.
