Archdiocese Announces ‘Theology On Tap’ Event

MIAMI (AP) — Alcohol and religion? Yes, those two can mix.

The Archdiocese of Miami is announcing “Theology on Tap,” an event where Catholics can meet with Archbishop Thomas Wenski over a mug of beer to talk about faith.

The event will take place on Oct. 15 at Homefield Sports Bar and Grill in Miami. Wenski will deliver a presentation titled “Relevance found: How is the Catholic church relevant to our lives today?”

The idea behind the event is to provide Catholic adults an opportunity to explore their faith and learn how to integrate it into their daily lives in a casual atmosphere.

Adults age 21 or older are invited to participate.
