Lightning Assign Forward Adam Erne To Junior Team

TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Lightning have assigned forward Adam Erne (err-NEE) to its junior team, the Quebec Remparts of the QMJHL, vice president and general manager Steve Yzerman announced. The Lightning’s camp roster now sits at 58 with 31 forwards, 22 defensemen and five goaltenders.

Erne, Tampa Bay’s second-round draft pick in 2013, scored two goals and added another in the shootout during the Lightning’s 4-3 come-from-behind win on Wednesday night at the Amway Center in Orlando. It was his first NHL preseason game.

The Bolts travel to St. Louis today to take on the Blues in their third game preseason game in as many nights. They will return home tomorrow night to play their final preseason game of the season at the Tampa Bay Times Forum (7 p.m.). They will also have remaining games in Nashville (Sept. 24), Estero (Sept. 26) and Sunrise, FL (Sept. 28).
