Dashon Goldson Suspension Overturned; Will Play Against Patriots

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers won’t have to worry about their star safety’s status for their game against New England on Sunday.

Ian Rapoport reported early Wednesday that Dashon Goldson’s one-game suspension has been overturned, according to an NFL source.

The all-pro was facing suspension for a hit he laid on Saints scat back Darren Sproles during the team’s loss to New Orleans.

Although he avoided missing a game, Rapoport reports that Goldson will still pay a massive fine of $100,000 for the hit.
