Teacher Under Investigation Over “Butt Face” Video

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. (CBS Tampa) – A teacher in Osceola County is under investigation after a student says the teacher showed a suggestive and explicit video in class.

According to WKMG, Gregory Hobbs, a vocational school instructor and department head at Technical Education Center Osceola, pulled up a YouTube video of a Brazilian dance called “Butt Face Dance”.

The teacher pulled it up on his phone after a student watched it and showed it to him in class. ┬áThe video shows a woman slamming her butt into men’s faces.

“I watched him download this video, the butt face dance video,” Kathy Ryan told WKMG. “If I were a parent, I’d want to know what’s going on in class.

Both teenagers and adults attend the vocational school.

Ryan told the tv-station that Hobbs played the entire video with a crowd of students surrounding him and watching.

“He thinks there’s nothing wrong with showing this video on the phone, with 12 people standing around watching this video,” Ryan added.

The school district said in a statement that the human resources department opened an investigation and won’t provide any information until the investigation is complete.
