Mark Cook joins us every Tuesday to break down the performance of the Bucs this past Sunday against the Jets, and looked forward to the Saints.
One of the bigger issues that was noticeable was the lack of preparation from the top heading into the game. A lot of the issues with timing and preparation that was in an issue in the pre-season came out during Sunday’s game.
Mark talked about the lack of a game plan during the game, and discussed where the issues were through out the game. Mark also said the gamble of limited pre-season reps coupled with the lack of a plan at tight end and fullback were both parts of the Bucs undoing.
One of the pieces of news that did come out over the weekend was that Jeff Demps has decided to come to Tampa to try his luck with the Bucs after finishing his track season. The key for Demps is how much is he going to be committed to the Bucs and the NFL, or if this is his backup plan for the continuation of his track career.
