Food Trucks Gather In Tampa To Break Record

TAMPA, Fla. (AP) — Nearly 100 food trucks gathered in Tampa for what organizers say was a world record.

Ninety-nine food trucks rolled into the Florida State Fairgrounds on Saturday in an effort to break the previous world record of 62 trucks gathered in one spot in Miami earlier this year.

Vendors traveled from Orlando, Sarasota and other areas for the event dubbed “The World’s Largest Food Truck Rally.”

The event started just before 9 a.m. and ended at 8 p.m.

No word yet from Guinness World Records.
