(AUDIO) What’s Wrong With The Rays

With this recent run of form, the Rays and their fans keep looking for answers. So tonight, Jeff Zito spoke with Roger Mooney to give us some answers as to what has been the issue for the Rays.

The Rays have always had to rely on pitching and for the last week or so, that has been part of the road block that has kept them from winning the last week to 10 days.  Roger talked about the return of Alex Cobb as something that could bolster the rotation.

Another point that Roger brought up was what point in the season that they were in, and that they still have time to make another run.  Earlier in the show, Jeff was wondering aloud how the rotation will look once Cobb and Moore come back from their stint on the bench.

Lastly, the obvious comparisons between Wil Myers and Yasiel Puig were made all weekend and Roger gave us his perspective on what he saw over the 3 game series.
