(AUDIO) Ira Kaufman: Eric Wright is Not a Buccaneer Man

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers traded Eric Wright to the San Francisco 49ers for a late conditional draft pick on Friday. To give us more information on the trade, Ira Kaufman from the Tampa Tribune joined Booger and Rich minutes after the news broke.

Kaufman said that Eric Wright simply wasn’t a Buccaneer man after a second arrest for DUI in California earlier this week. Despite the loss of Wright, Kaufman said that the addition of Darrelle Revis and Jonathan Banks means the sky isn’t falling over One Buc Place.

Ira also told Booger and Rich that, to him, Wright was a marginal player anyways and his departure makes room for a new nickel cornerback to emerge on the Bucs roster.
