(AUDIO) Kevin Kennedy Says He Doesn’t Understand How Athletes Like Aaron Hernandez Get Into So Much Trouble

Every Wednesday at 3:40pm and again at 6:20pm former MLB manager Kevin Kennedy joins Booger and Rich to talk about the Tampa Bay Rays and everything else going on in baseball. Today we went off of baseball to talk with Kennedy about the Aaron Hernandez arrest.

Kennedy, who once managed in Boston, said that he just couldn’t understand why athletes like Aaron Hernandez who make millions of dollars can continue to get into trouble. He also said that the MLB union has lead to players getting away with far more than NFL athletes.

Kennedy said that as a manager, he addressed his players early and said that if they got into trouble off the field, they would have to face the consequences. He even made them sign off on it.
