Buccaneers Sign CB Michael Adams

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced today the signing of cornerback Michael Adams.

Adams (5-8, 181) enters his seventh year in the NFL, having played in 74 games with seven starts, totaling 165 tackles, 18 passes defensed, four fumble recoveries, three interceptions and one forced fumble.

Adams originally entered the league as a college free agent with the Arizona Cardinals in 2007. A Dallas native, Adams played collegiately at Louisiana-Lafayette.

The team also announced the waiving of guard Jeremy Lewis.
