Just because hockey season is winding down doesn’t mean that Tampa Tribune Lightning beat writer Erik Erlendsson isn’t busy, as he’s been keeping an eye on the Stanley Cup Finals, keeping tabs on the Lightning, and has also covered the Rays.

He told The Fabulous Sports Babe that it’s not surprising the triple-OT opener in the Cup Finals ended the way it did, as it usually takes a deflection or a weird bounce to score on a great goaltender. Erik also talked about the possibility of the Lightning being active at the NHL Draft, and even mentioned how much the Rays need their pitching to return to its elite level. Click below to listen!
