Police: Man Arrested After Performing Sex Acts On A Door

LAKE WORTH, Fla. (CBS Tampa) – A local man was arrested after he was caught attempting to perform sex acts with an area business’ door.

The suspect, 57-year-old Anthony Bruce Berry, was caught performing the acts on tape by an employee at a Lantana business called Hypoluxo, the Florida Sun-Sentinel is reporting.

An arrest affidavit obtained by the paper indicated that Berry was first spotted by the unidentified female employee attempting to enter the business from the rear. When he found the door to be locked, Berry reportedly returned to the front door and displayed his private parts to her.

After exposing himself, Berry was said to have performed what was described in the document as an “indecent act” on the door, before relocating to a nearby bus stop.

The employee, who had recorded the incident on her iPhone, called 911 for assistance. When police arrived and approached Berry, he greeted them with a smile.

He was quoted as saying to them, “Yes, I have a mental problem!”

Berry was subsequently taken to the Palm Beach County Jail, then released two hours later. The Sun-Sentinel learned that he is now facing charges of indecent exposure – a charge he has faced at least two times before.

Berry’s record is said to have 32 other arrests for charges such as robbery, sexual assault and cocaine possession, with incidents dating back to 1979.
