Police: Disney Employee Watched Child Porn While Writing Easter Sermon At Work

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (CBS Tampa) – A former Disney employee was arrested after police say he was caught looking at child pornography during work, while reportedly writing an Easter sermon at the same time.

The former custodial manager of Disney’s Port Orleans resort, 49-year-old Cedric Eugene Cuthbert, was first found out by company officials last month, when he attempted to access websites that are restricted by the company.

An employee relations manager was made aware of the issue, and was shown screen shots taken by Disney’s computer monitoring system.

The images caught by the system showed Cuthbert loading and commenting on YouTube videos featuring teenage girls in pornographic situations. At the same time, he was said to be writing an Easter Sunday sermon to deliver in his role as pastor for the Historic St. James African Methodist Episcopal Church, the Orlando Sentinel is reporting.

Cuthbert was let go from his position and, after the manager alerted authorities with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, arrested.

He is now facing multiple charges, including soliciting a child for unlawful sexual conduct using computer services or devices and possession of material including sexual conduct by a child.

He is being held at the Orange County Jail without bail, the paper learned.
