(AUDIO) Rob Higgins Talks Tampa Bay Sports

As we continued our list of the 50 most important people in Tampa Bay sports, one of the names that we all agreed on was a name that you may not have heard of.  Rob Higgins is the Executive Director of the Tampa Bay Sports Commission.

He, along with his team of colleagues, are responsible for many of the major national sporting events that come to Tampa Bay area.  Events like the Frozen Four, NCAA basketball regionals, US Men’s National team World Cup qualifiers, among many other things.

Rob is a local guy, like The Commish, who grew up in the area and has stayed around to make it the best it possibly can be.
