(AUDIO) The Captain, Dave Andreychuk Joins The Commish

All this week at 10:00am, The Commish will count down the top 50 most important figures in Tampa Bay sports history.  Today, #42 on our list Dave Andreychuk joined us to talk about his time in Tampa Bay, and taking over the leadership of the Tampa Bay Lightning that led them to the Stanley Cup.

Dave took us through the process of coming to Tampa Bay, and what his mindset was when he joined the organization.  Dave knew a lot of the guys in the front office from his time in Buffalo, and saw a lot of young talent on the roster that could grow into a championship caliber team.

Finally, Dave looked forward to the new group of players, and told us just how close this team is to getting back to that championship level.

Everyday this week at 10, we count down our list of the top 50 most important sports figures in the Tampa Bay area.

Tune in to The Commish every weekday from 9-12 on Sports Radio 98.7 The Fan.
