Police: Man Attacks Hotel Guest With Screwdriver

ORLANDO, Fla. (CBS Tampa) – Orlando police have arrested a man for allegedly attacking a hotel guest with a screwdriver.

Police tell WESH-TV Angel Ramos, 47, talked his way into the woman’s Ambassador Hotel room by pretending to be an air-condition repair man. Once in the room, Ramos allegedly used a screwdriver to attack the guest before stealing personal items and cash.

Authorities arrested Ramos a few blocks from the hotel. He was booked into the county jail and is being held with no bond.

The woman was transported to the hospital. WESH reports she is suffering non-life-threatening injuries.
