Man Arrested After Calling 911 To Ask For Kool-Aid, Drugs

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (CBS Tampa) – A local man is in hot water after calling 911 to request a delivery of Kool-Aid.

According to an arrest affidavit obtained by the Tampa Bay Times, area resident Jarvis Sutton made use of the emergency call service to request a personal delivery of the fruit punch beverage, as well as hamburgers and marijuana.

Sutton, 34, allegedly wanted officers to bring the items to him – a request he made during several of the 80 calls he made to 911 on Sunday.

Local authorities did go to Sutton’s house – to place him under arrest.

On his way to prison, he reportedly continued to cause trouble by chewing on foam attached to the caged back part of the police car.

As of Tuesday, Sutton was still in prison in lieu of a $150 bail, the Times learned. He is now facing charges of misusing the 911 system.
