Police: Foot Fetishist Arrested After Asking To Touch 10-Year-Old Girl’s Feet

DUNDEE, Fla. (CBS Tampa) — A local resident was arrested Wednesday after asking a 10-year-old girl – and many others over the course of several years – for permission to touch their feet for his own sexual gratification.

The suspect, 23-year-old Reginald Cruz, told authorities that he had been approaching women with the odd request since the age of 6. Deputies with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office believe he has solicited hundreds of women during that time.

According to a press release on the sheriff’s office website, Cruz would claim to his victims that he was trying to earn a Boy Scout badge for community service in his younger years, and would ask to massage their feet in order to get it.

In more recent years, he would claim to be a medical student conducting research.

Women who consented were reportedly subjected to Cruz kissing their feet and sucking their toes if they let their guard down.

He is now facing multiple charges for his amorous attempts, including lewd lascivious conduct on a person less than 18 years of age and two counts of battery.

Authorities are concerned, however, that other victims of Cruz’s attacks are out there – including more children.

Deputies at the Polk County Sheriff’s Office are asking other potential victims or those with knowledge of Cruz’s crimes to call (863) 298-6200 with information.
