BREAKING: Buccaneers Acquire Darrelle Revis from Jets

By: Justin Pawlowski

After months of speculation, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have acquired Darrelle Revis from the Jets in a deal made official on Sunday.

Revis’ agents tweeted out that a contract has been finalized, which means Revis passed the physical on his injured knee.

Revis new deal appears to be a 6-year contract for $96 million and NO GUARANTEED MONEY according to CBS Sports Radio.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that the Buccaneers have traded their 2013 1st round pick (13th overall) and a 2014 conditional 4th round pick that could escalate to a 3rd round selection.

The Buccaneers still possess their 2nd, 3rd, two 4th round picks, a 5th, and two 6th round picks in this weekend’s NFL Draft, giving them ample ammunition to trade up for any player they might be targeting.
