(AUDIO) DARRYL STRAWBERRY on the Kirk & Dinger Morning Show
In the eighties, Darryl Strawberry was known as one of the most feared sluggers in MLB. In 1986 the 6-foot-6 outfielder helped lead the New York Mets to a World Series Championship and was with the Yankees for their ’96, ’98, and ’99 World Series runs.
Strawberry is also well-known for his problems and addiction off the field. On Monday’s edition of the Kirk and Dinger Morning Show, Straw called in on the Hooters Hotline to share his story of redemption.
