A Vancouver peewee hockey coach was sentenced to 15 days in jail and 12 years probation after intentionally tripping an opposing player during the postgame handshake.

The trip caused two players to fall on the ice, with one of the players hurting his wrist seriously.

Martin Tremblay, 48, plead guilty to one count of assault in November. The two players that fell were 10 and 13 years old.
