USF’s new defensive backs coach and assistant head coach Ron Cooper spoke publicly today for the first time since signing with USF.
Cooper was the defensive backs coach for the Bucs. The unit was last in the league against the pass. Cooper explained the tough circumstances his unit faced throughout the 2012 season.
Cooper also explained his love for the collegiate game.
