PORT RICHEY, Fla. (CBS Tampa) — A local woman who took her daughter and nephew to play in the park one evening got more than she bargained for when a man approached them and claimed to be President Barack Obama.

The man proceeded to call the female child a prostitute during the incident, according to WFTS-TV.

The victim’s mother, 28-year-old Sharaya Smith, told the station that the attacker, Bienvenido Cintron, emerged from the bushes at Lake Lisa Park earlier this week and approached her and the two children.

“He [said that he] was President Obama and he was here to rid the world of drug dealers, prostitutes, and trash,” Smith, who works in the medical field and has reportedly dealt with mental patients in the past, told WFTS-TV. “Something was definitely off with him.”

Cintron then reportedly proceeded to call Smith’s 4-year-old daughter Tatiana Ortega a prostitute before trying to snatch the two kids. Smith then tried to take the children back to the safety of her car.

It was at that point, however, that Cintron reportedly grabbed her hair to keep her from getting away.

Smith told the station that she got the attention of a nearby group of teens, who tried to help hold Cintron back as he continued to grab Tatiana.

“Before I could lock it, he opened up the car and reached in,” Smith added. “So I slammed the door and it kind of caught him and when he jerked his hand back I just screamed ‘go, go, go!'”

According to her, the teens hit Cintron multiple times once they caught up with him, and gave him two black eyes in the process.

After Smith called for help, officers with the Pasco County Sheriff’s Office arrived and arrested Cintron. He was held in jail on a$150,000 bond, the station learned.
