Lightning Announce Opening Night Sellout

TAMPA BAY – The Tampa Bay Lightning announced today that their landmark 20th Anniversary season will begin with a sold out crowd for their home opener on Saturday, January 19 when they host the Washington Capitals at 7 p.m. at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

A limited number of standing room only tickets will be made available for fans to purchase beginning on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. at the McDonald’s® Ticket Office located at the Times Forum. Tickets can be purchased for $35 each and will be limited to two tickets per person for the game on Saturday night.

Additionally on Saturday prior to the home opener, fans are encouraged to arrive early for player red carpet arrivals beginning at 3:30 p.m. on the West Plaza. There will also be $2 beers and $1 hot dogs available for fans to purchase on Thunder Alley (West Plaza) during the red carpet event and will last until doors open for the game.
