After being abandoned by their mother, this wolf pup and his siblings were rescued.

As they matured, they would have to learn basic wolf behavior and Shaun Ellis decided to raise them by playing the part of a wild wolf himself.

Ellis spent a lifetime learning the behaviors of wolves in the wild and focused on their interaction with people. Here, he teaches the tiny wolf how to howl (and does a great wolf impression in the process).

Ellis and his wolves were the subject of National Geographic’s documentary, “A Man Among Wolves”.
