TAMPA – The University of South Florida has hired Robert Weiner to serve as wide receivers coach, head coach Willie Taggart announced on Sunday. Weiner joins the USF staff after serving as the head coach at Plant High School in Tampa for nine seasons.

A 1983 Tampa Jesuit graduate, Weiner compiled a 102-19 record at Plant, which included eight playoff berths, four state titles and five state finals appearances.
