HUDSON BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Authorities are investigating after a man’s body was found floating in a canal near Hudson Beach in southwest Florida.

Pasco County Sheriff’s officials found the body floating in the canal Saturday afternoon and said there are no obvious signs of foul play.

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death and identify the body.

A citizen first called the Coast Guard to report the body.
