Man Questioned After Pasco Woman Was Found Dead

PORT RICHEY, Fla. (AP) — Authorities are interviewing a man they say was acting suspicious after a woman was found dead inside her Port Richey home.

The Pasco Sheriff’s Office said 35-year-old Kelly Bennett was killed sometime just after midnight Saturday by “homicidal violence.” No other details were released.

Authorities were initially called to the area to investigate reports of a white male acting suspiciously while walking down a road near Bennett’s home. Detectives are now questioning that man.

His name was not released.
