PALM COAST, Fla. (AP) — Authorities say a small plane carrying five passengers was trying to land at a central Florida airport when it crashed into a house.
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office reports that the pilot declared an emergency shortly after 2 p.m. Friday, saying that the plane was severely shaking.
Authorities say the plane hit a Palm Coast home near the Flagler County Airport a few minutes after the pilot’s call. The house burst into flames.
Officials didn’t immediately have information about injuries.
