BELLE GLADE, Fla. (AP) — Deputies say a woman was shot in the face after a fight broke out during a rap party at a club in Belle Glade.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office says in a news release that the fight broke out inside the Ballroom Club early Saturday morning and then spilled into the parking lot area.

Shots rang out during the fight, hitting an unidentified woman in the face. She was airlifted to Delray Medical Center, where she is in critical but stable condition. No one else was hurt.

Deputies say the crowd was large, and they are still searching for a suspect.
