The USF Bulls picked up their fourth win of the season, defeating the Stetson Hatters 63-54. The Bulls held the lead for nearly the entire game, but the Hatters just wouldn’t go away. With three minutes left in the 2nd half, the Bulls went on a eight point run and finally locked up the victory.
USF Senior Jawanza Poland posted his first career double-double, scoring 19 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
“Coming off the bench, I just want to do whatever I can to give my team a spark,” Poland said after the game.
USF now improves to 4-2 on the season and will take on the Georgia Bulldogs Friday night back home in Tampa.
