MIAMI (AP) — A child has been airlifted to the hospital after being shot on a school bus.

Miami-Dade Police are investigating Tuesday’s shooting on a private transportation bus for a Miami area charter school. It’s unclear whether the student was shot by someone on the bus or by a stray bullet.

The child’s condition was not known.
