There’s nothing like big sand castled and music on the beach to please everyone in the family. Pack up the kids and the sun screen and hit the road to Treasure Island’s Professional Sand Sculpting Competition & Music Festival this weekend, November 17-18, 2012.

The sand castles and sculptures are big enough to make even the adult stare in amazement. There even a fireworks display Saturday night at 9:30pm. FYI-Sunset is 5:37pm.

Admission to this event is free. All food is extra. The location is at 107th Avenue & Gulf Boulevard on Treasure Island.

This is the day to admire the works of sand art and kick back. Hang with the kids and maybe eat some fresh seafood from dozens of restaurants in the Sanding Ovations Food Court. Get your Holiday shopping done early as you stroll through the arts and crafts mart along Treasure Island’s beach trail.
