Bulls Lose to Miami 40-9; Lose Another QB

The University of South Florida Bulls lost to the Miami Hurricanes 40 – 9. Injury struck the team again when backup QB Bobby Eveld was knocked out of the game before the end of the first quarter with a shoulder injury. Forcing USF to play a third-string QB and with the lead firmly in hand, the Miami Hurricanes never looked back. Solid play on defense kept the Bulls in the game but Miami proved too tough to handle.

With this loss, the USF Bulls will miss playing in a bowl game for the second season in a row.
