Lache Seastrunk rushed for 185 yards and a TD and helped the Baylor Bears upset the #1 Kansas State Wildcats. Seastrunk 80 yard TD run in the 3rd quarter put the Bears up by 28 points, sealed the game and seemingly dashed the Wildcats chances of playing for a national championship.
Baylor’s Glasco Martin also helped on the ground, rushing for 113 yards and 3 TD’s. The Bears finished the game with 342 yards rushing while the Wildcats could only muster 76 yards on the ground.
Heisman hopeful Colin Klein threw for 286 yards and 2 TD’s and had a rushing TD but his 3 INT’s put Kansas State in a tough spot. It was just too much for the Wildcats to overcome and as the clock struck zero, the crowd in Waco, Texas rushed the field and broke the hearts of Kansas State fans everywhere.
