50 Reasons the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Organization is Better in 2012

By: Justin Pawlowski

On Monday, Gary Shelton and I asked listeners to compile a list of 50 reasons why the Tampa Bay Buccaneers had a better organization this year than they did a year ago.

During a typical talk show, we usually have time to get to 20-30 phone calls.  Since we only accepted listeners who called in to add to the list, we received a very impressive number of 26 reasons why the Buccaneers were better as an organization this year than last year.

We will continue compiling the list throughout the week to see how long it takes to reach 50.  At this pace, we should near 50 reasons in the next day or so, which would be quite the feat.

Here is a list of reasons already mentioned:

-Run Defense
-Josh Freeman
-Doug Martin
-Having a 3rd WR like Tiquan Underwood
-Aggressive Style from the WRs
-Offensive Line
-Balanced offense to keep opposing defenses off-balance
-Expectations by coaches placed on players
-Raheem Morris is Not Here
-Overall Linebacker Play
-Turnover Margin
-Drafting by Mark Dominik and his staff
-The Glazers Opening Their Wallets
-Customer Service
-Cutting/Trading Players like Kellen Winslow, Brian Price, Tanard Jackson, etc…
-Maneuvering in Draft and getting Mark Barron, Doug Martin, and Lavonte David
-Special Teams
-Gameday Experience
-Veteran Leadership
-Getting Breaks
-Leonard Johnson

Reasons added on Tuesday:

-Work Ethic
-Freeman and the WRs being on the same page
-Gerald McCoy Health

Start thinking of more reasons why the Buccaneers are a better organization this season as opposed to last season, and call us to add your reason to the list.

Vietnam Veterans' Bond Forged Again With Kidney DonationServing together in Vietnam, John Middaugh and Henry "Bill" Warner forged an Army-brothers bond they knew was profound and lasting. A world and nearly a half a century away from the war zone where they'd counted on each other, Middaugh put himself on the line for Warner this month in a new way: by giving one of his kidneys.
