Florida Man Found With Over 900 Oxycodone Pills After Being Pulled Over

PROVIDENCE, R.I. (AP) — Rhode Island State Police say a Florida man stopped for speeding over the weekend had more than 900 oxycodone pills in his vehicle.

Police say troopers stopped the man’s vehicle for speeding early Saturday morning on Interstate 195 in East Providence. A check of his Florida license showed that it had been suspended. Police searched his car and found 903 Oxycodone pills and 56 morphine pills.

Thirty-six-year-old Brandon Damon Lee of Lauderhill, Fla. was arrested and charged with possession with intent to deliver and driving on a suspended license. He was held over the weekend pending a bail review scheduled for Monday. Lee could not be reached for comment.
