Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray confirmed MRI results of a foot sprain Monday. The injury could keep him out for this weekend’s game against the Panthers, but the news could have been much worse.

When Murray left last Sunday’s game against the Ravens there were whispers of a fracture or even, GULP, the dreaded Lisfranc injury. The Lisfranc injury is the same thing that claimed Jets corner back Darrelle Revis for the rest of the season.
