Rugby Player Loses Testicle

(CNN) – Paul Wood left a piece of himself behind after a brutal game in the British Rugby League. Woods, who plays for the Warrington Wolves, ruptured a testicle in the match and despite his gruesome injury, he finished the game.

Despite his sacrifice, the Wolves lost to the the Leeds Rhinos (last year’s champions).

Showing his sense of humor about the injury, Wood tweeted to his followers after he was released from a local hospital: “Just coming out the hospital to go home… Seriously feel like I’ve left something?” – @PaulWood_Wolves
