Police: Man Forces 7-Year-Old Boy To Smoke Pot At Gunpoint

SANTA ROSA BEACH, Fla. (CBS Tampa) — A man is accused of forcing a 7-year-old boy to smoke marijuana at gunpoint.

Justin Blake Mitchell, 26, threatened to shoot the little boy if he didn’t smoke pot at their Santa Rosa Beach home, according to the Northwest Daily News. This happened after he allegedly hit his wife in the head with the gun and stole cash from her.

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office told the Daily News that Mitchell also robbed two other people before he was arrested for the July 12 incident.

The Daily News reports that Mitchell has been charged with child abuse, aggravated battery and aggravated assault, among others. He is currently being held at the Walton County Jail.
