It’s a short work week before another great action packed weekend around Tampa Bay.  Here’s a list of the best events this Friday – Sunday.

First Friday St. Pete
Friday 5:30pm – 10pm
Central Ave. between 2nd and 3rd Street
Downtown St. Petersburg

Friday night Central Avenue in downtown St. Petersburg again will be transformed into a large block party starting at 5:30pm.  Come out and meet up with old and new friends and enjoy some of the best live jazz and oldies Tampa Bay. The band this month is Tin Pan Alley. In addition to a live music – there will be many charming pubs, restaurants and wine and cigar bars to hang out in. Tampa radio station Q105 will be on hand too.

Come watch the Rays and Baltimore Orioles battle it out for first place. Friday night the first 10,000 will receive a Jeremy Hellickson Rookie of the Year Figurine. Saturday’s concert is: LL COOL J FEATURING DJ Z-TRIP. Sunday’s giveaway will be a Desmond Jennings Bobblehead to the first 10,000 kids 14 & under. Tickets start at $20.75.

Pre-Party starts at noon (between gates C & D) and is free. Beer, food & live music. Win tickets to SandBar and upcoming shows. Staging for both Chesney and McGraw’s set includes an LED video wall with nearly 2,400,000 pixels for sharpness and clarity. Lighting for Chesney’s set includes 80 strobes and 48 Syncrolites that are placed throughout the stadium to send five foot diameter beams of light criss-crossing the night sky.

Children 2 and under are free if they sit in their parent/guardian’s lap.
