Shepard’s north of the Sandkey Bridge on Clearwater Beach is a popular bar for boaters and jet skiers. There are no docks only shallow anchorage. Local boaters just drop an anchor and wade in. Island Way Grill is a better choice if you are looking for a less party animal experience. It’s located in Mandalay Bay Lagoon near Clearwater Memorial Causeway. At least six boats can tie up to restaurant’s sea wall. Inside they serve sophisticated seafood and steaks and sushi. Their food on the deck includes salads, grouper sandwiches and oysters. On the weekends the deck and tiki bar have live music.

Crabby Bill’s in Rocky Point is a Tampa boaters party zone. They have docks for 50 boats, a small beach, pool, volleyball courts (they hold tournaments), jet ski rental, live music, shaded patio and a full outdoor bar. They serve sandwiches, ribs, steaks, seafood and have a children’s menu. Crabby’s is across from Whiskey Joe’s beach. Crabby’s has less of a beach but they have volleyball tourney’s that are topnotch.
